Sending out leaflets to your customers and potential customers is a great way to give them all the information they need, to realise you are the person they need for the job. There are a few things you need to do to make sure your customers come to the right decision after reading your leaflets, and one of those things is to make sure they trust you and believe you really can provide the stunning product or service you are promising.

The way you go about this depends on the types of customers you are targeting with your leaflets. For example, if you are mailing out to existing customers, hopefully they already know you can be trusted and that you provide good quality work. Therefore, all you need to do is remind them of this, either through testimonials from other customers or citable facts which lend your claims credibility; and not to mention trustworthy contacts, a photo of yourself or your team will remind your customers of the personal dealings you have had with them, and don’t forget to include your qualifications too.

Also, do you remember how many times you look at a price, product or deal and think that it’s too good to be true so you pass it by? Well your customers are inclined to do the same thing, so to stop them disregarding your leaflet as too good to be true, having a hidden, expensive catch or just a scam, point out a ‘flaw’ with your product or service.

For example, tell your customers about a flaw that isn’t really a flaw, or is just a minor flaw; a computer program which takes a little while to learn but once you get it, it will allow you to do the same work in half the time.

If your customers believe you are being honest with them they are more likely to trust you, and in turn your product; your leaflet turns you from just another company, into a real entity who is sharing this great deal/product/offer with them and only them.
